Cd Mate 2.2.2.5

http://www.cd-mate.com/downloads.php

This is the new and much improved version of Cd Mate!
Anyone hasnt tried cd mate in a while can they please give it another go

A lot of changes has happened lately at cd mate and a lot more are still to come so if anyone would like to give cd mate a good test now feel free, as i will be trying to look after this forum like i do my own.
I would like to remind people that cd mate is not just capable of backing up games (which it is very capable of by simply useing the wizard) but also is capable of a multitude of other things like,

Automatically converting mp3s to wave and burning to disc
converting audio to mp3
makes bootable cd
capable of burning various images .ccd bin/cue, nrg etc
convert files to iso
erase cdrw
detail properties of a disc including type manufacturer speed etc
too many compatible writers to list
and lots more…

A few interesting links are the games database started 2 months ago submitted by users…

www.cd-mate.com/database/

and writer compatability list…

Im sure that ill get questions from you all pretty soon that i will trry my best to answer…

P.S apologies to g@mefreak as ive only discovered the pm functions here at cdfreaks, so sorry for not replying

Heheh LOL

I’ve posted this news at the CD Freaks mainpage.

One other thing would be nice to get a second opinion on from people here.
A user of cd mate “nemur” submitted medal of honour to our databse of successful backups useing the plextor, as i dont have a plex it would be nice to get this verified!

I was going to try …but i allways get a error befor burning starts…

that’s when i try to burn a ccd.image.

this is the end of my log:

Are you burning a .ccd image or a .cmi image?

http://www.cd-mate.com/support/viewtopic.php?topic=470&forum=1&2

One other thing is it 2.2.2.5 you are useing?

I’m using the new 2.2.2.built 5

and it’s a *.ccd file

Can you try making a .cmi image useing cd mate and burn that, that way we can tell if theres any kind of problem.
Just use the recording wizard to seect safedisk2 settings and dont change any of these, make your (.cmi) then burn it to disc!

Have you used cd mate before?

nope never used it before…

did try now with a new read from the orginal disc. It vas not MOHAA but STCC2 with the SD2 2.05.30 version on it. DOn’t have the Mohaa at home just borrowd it from a friens so i just have the *.ccd image.

But back to the question, i ended up with this in the log:

didn’t anyone with the 24X plextor try it more than me??

Sorry i didnt get back to you yesteday greffel (getting broadband installed at home

Can you burn an image useing cd made ok only useing your plex?
not on the fly!

did not test on the fly… this error comes when i make a .cmi image and then try to burn it

The plextor works very well with cd mate can you send us your full hardware and software logfiles?
You can find this in tools at the top of cd mate

Ok Greffel i have discussed your problem with development and they have came up with the following…

ASPI Command Error: H/T: 1/ 0 SRB_Status: 4 SRBFlags: 50 CDBLen: C
Full CDB Code: 2A 0 FF FF D2 97 0 0 10 0 0 0

ASPI Write Error:
H/T: 1, 0 BSize:2448 L: 16 W:-11625
SRB error! Sense Key: 00 ASC: 00 ASCQ: 00

Because you have direct-cd installed in windows can you open cd mate goto

file>properties>I/O

and enable WIinASPI preferred.

Can you do this and let me know if this fixes your problem please.
Development will develop a driver to hook this upto later.

hello
my m8 spanked medal of honor with a liteon 24/10 and also with his plex 12/10, just like the one i have
he says the key is his toshiba dvd drive
it reads like a charm :stuck_out_tongue:
if u need his log files i would have to get back to u on that

Thanks plexman, was this using cd mate 2.2.2.5 to “backup” with?

MOHAA backed up in Acer (now Benq for god’s sake) 1210A & 1610A will work in the burner using an ATIP hiding software. Image from an ASUS CD-ROM did not work (the ASUS CD-ROMs are ahem not the best readers
