How much “bending” can pressed and burnt disks take? Sometimes the jewel/keep cases are so cheap, the hub won’t let go of the disk and multiple attempts to rip the disk out can potentially cause the disk to bend by a little (temporarily ofcourse). How much does it shorten the disks’ lifespan?
That’s very difficult to quantify but the majority of discs are pretty flexible.
Cases are cheap nowadays and if they’re really that tight then you’d probably be better replacing them.
I have known discs to crack near the hub and the crack gradually spreads.
In addition to all this, if it’s something you can’t afford to lose, it’s always best to have important discs backed up.
