I was really annoyed when I found out that the Kings of Leon CD I had bought was copy protected. I mostly listen to music on my mp3 player so I vowed I would find a way round the protection.
I used Easy CD_DA Extractor 6.5 to view the contents of the CD.
It appears that session one consists of twelve tracks.
The first track is the first track from the album.
So I just copied this to my hard drive.
The remaining ten tracks are all hidden in track eleven.
Anyway I just copied a sample of this track from the start to 37:53 (this is the sum of the remaining tracks) to my hard drive.
I then used Goldwave 5.06 to split this into the remaining ten tracks.
This allowed me to have all the tracks from the album to rip to mp3. You could also make a CD without the copy protection too.
I’m sure there are probably easier ways of doing this but I couldn’t get mine to copy any other way.
