i encode everything with lame using 192 average Variable bit rate. im curious, if anyone out there has a car cd player capable of mp3 playback, if theirs will handle vbr, as opposed to constant bit rate (cbr). it'd be nice to burn 10 cd's onto a cdrw, and listen to them all in my car like that, but not if i had to re-rip re-name re-encode :D. thanks much
I hav a pioneer car cd-player that plays mp3.
I’ve tryed mp3’s with vbr and they work fine.
I also know that some kenwood players can handle it.
But why do’nt you check there sites??
