i have downloaded many dvd burning programs and wasted many blank 4.7g dvds (5 to be exact) trying to burn an iso image file onto a blank dvd-r disc. the problem is, when i do this, it is always successfully completed, but i cant play it on a standalone dvd player, and my ps3 reads it as a data disc, and my computer reads it as a video clip once i open the disc.
this iso file has been converted from what was originally a video clip, which i got from a friend on his usb
ive tried to find some sort of setting to make sure the dvd ends up as a normal dvd video, but theres none that i know of. the programs that i have is dvd decrypter, imgburn, xilisoft video converter, deepburner, burnaware home, dvd shrink and daemon tools lite.
i have been looking for a long time for answers and the closest thing that would probably be related is the 1 gig minimum limit to burn dvds (the movie is around 700mb)unless anyone says otherwise
with these programs in mind as well as other unmentioned free ones, can anyone think of a way around this. if anyone has any answers that would be very much appreciated, cheers
