Hi richsark
Welcome to the forum and happy holidays :flower:
are you getting any error messages ? does it fail during the scan, copying or burn ?
in common settings->PathPlayer make sure you have PathPlayer set as “Always enabled”

I have not been able to back “The Dark Knight” either.
I’ve tryed DVD fab 4, DVD fab 5, DVD Decrypter ver. 3.5.4.0, Image Burn ver 2.4.2.0, Any DVD ver 6.4.8.5.
None of them could back up “The Dark Knight”.

Hi, Seems that when I make a full backup of the movie it worked. When I did Main movie only it did not.

Any ideas?

I just made a backup of The Dark Knight today myself (2 disc edition) with AnyDVD to an ISO using ImgBurn and it seems to work although I noticed some things that baffle me now about all the stuff I’ve backed up. First I had to turn the AI scanner to “always” in the settings of AnyDVD (The latest version 6.4.9.2) otherwise AnyDVD would just hang. Now the odd thing is is that after AnyDVD is done and I have an ISO, I mount it with Daemon Tools and rescan it with AnyDVD and it says there are still copy protection elements that need to be removed! ? I load the ISO with DVDFab and it says there are a lot more things to remove and Path Player has to be enabled. I don’t get this at all because the ISO plays just fine with my MG-35 (can’t tel yu if it works with a standalone DVD player because don’t burn them to disc) and I noticed a lot of other rips I did show the same thing.

Does anybody know why after ripping a dvd to an ISO it would still show protections that need to be removed?

This what DVDFab says about an ISO made with AnyDVD and ImgBurn:

Info for ISO [E:(2008) THE DARK KNIGHT.ISO] (DVDFab Platinum 5.2.2.2)

And this is what AnyDVD says about the rip it did itself:

What gives? Is this even something to worry about? Some of the rips I’ve done in the past say they are totally clean of any copy protection mehtods.
