Can't access part2 on Windows DVD Maker disk

I used Windows DVD Maker (Vista Home Premium) to burn 2 vids on to a video DVD. This was the same title in 2 parts. However, I can’t access the second part.

Thanks in advance.

Put the disk in your drive and select My Computer, then right click on your drive and select Explore, double click the video_ts folder and see what files are there.

I should have said I can’t access in my DVD player.

These are the files:

VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_02_0.BUP
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02_0.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB

Everything looks alright. Does your DVD player just stop after the first part? What brand of blank disks are you using? What burn speed? You can try DVD Shrink, http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm. Start the program, insert your DVD, then select Open Disc, you can check the preview box, Shrink should start to analyze the disk.

Some extra information.

These are the files from the original DVD:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB

These are the files from the Windows DVD Maker (WDM) created DVD:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_02_0.BUP
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02_0.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB

At the adding files stage, WDM only allowed 2 of the vid files on the grounds that the others were too short.

How can I burn the original files, bypassing WDM, and make the disk readable to my player?

By original files do you mean
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB

If these files are on your hard drive now you can use Imgburn, http://www.imgburn.com/, Select "Create Image file from files/folders"
If they are on a DVD select “Create image file from disc” and then “Write Image file to disc”

Thanks. Works perfectly.
