I was given the duty of creating a highlight reel from 4 DVDs. I couldn't think of an easy way to do this, so I decided to use DVDfab to rip the DVDs, then somehow convert the VOB to a format where I could then cut it down. I then looked into it and found that DVDfab can actually rip and convert to AVI...less work for me!
So, I got them all ripped and converted, then tried importing them into Premiere. Unfortunately, I get an error message saying that the file format is either unsupported or it is damaged (can't be the former as AVI is supported).
Anyone have any suggestions? Do I need to re-do the entire process and not use DVDfab to convert it this time?
