Cannot burn at 48x help, end track error

I have verbatim flash to 48125W. I burned at 48x for the past 2months and no problems. I upgraded to V08 and I’m getting end track error everytime I use 48x. Went back to V06 and did the same thing. Help please

use proper media ( 48x certified ) or reduce your speed to 40x --> see what happens :wink:

Well, i’ve been using 40x with no problems. The only thing is that it takes 3:40 s to burn a 701MB of data. This is in a firewire case. Is this speed ok o too slow?

I’ve no experience with the firewire stuff/external drives whatsoever

otherwise, it’s a whole minute slower than otherwise :smiley:
