Canadian man pays over $1,000 to stream a handful of movies over Netflix.

That low price is partially what helped the company become a household name. Saskatchewan native John Gibson, however, managed to rack up over $10,000 in costs during a recent vacation.

Data roaming fees are beyond absurd and providers should be criminally punished for charging the rates they do. There is absoutley ZERO basis for these rates.

I can get 6 GB for 30$ / month but if I’m roaming I get charged as if I had open heart surgery in a U.S. hospital ? F-ing ridiculous !

Biggest load of BS this decade.

This is why I have a computer/external hard drive. That way I keep all my movies on it, take my laptop, and plug in and watch a movie with VLC when I want to. No roaming BS.
