Now that Harper has a majority gov’t we could see more and more of this. Conservatives support the anti piracy measures being pushed by the MPAA & RIAA, such as ACTA.
Hurt Locker was the suckiest movie that ever sucked. It’s ironic that they are pursuing this movie.

They need the money as they most likely lost plenty on it…
I really enjoyed the movie when I finally saw it on the on demand here on my cable, hell I’d even buy it on sale but suing everyone that MIGHT have downloaded it is not making them any friends or making folks want to actually buy it.
The movie was not bad.
I still cant see how this isnt extortion and how we cant counter-sue.
Guess they needed to shift their focus to another country since these mass lawsuits keep getting shot down and dismissed in the US. Hopefully the Canadian courts make the same rulings and banish these leeches back from wence they came!
