Can you overclock a TDK VeloCD 40x12x48 by flashing the firmware for the 48125W? Has anybody done it? and does it work? Thanks
I flashed my TDK 48x to a Liteon48X24X48x but it is a Ltr48246S. I don’t think you can flash backwards to a #5 mediatek chipsetwhen you have a #6.
no problem for me using VS08 firmware version

So, if you wanna OC it just get the latest VS08. bin ( Laden 
) + mtkflash
and go for it !

OnlineKing! You flashed a TDK 48x16X48X with Vs08 firmware so it became a Liteon LTR48125S? Please let me know becuase the Vs08 is for a mediatek #5 chipset and the TDK uses the #6?

you can’t flash this drive with mediatek #6 chipset
