Can`t Overburn DVD`s & Rec CD`s more 32X speed

Ok.

Yesterday i try to Overburn a Verbatim 16X ( MCC 004 ), a litle MG moore, with Nero 6.0.6.1.8.
At the end it did gaves me error :a

Ok, maybe Verbatim is not suite for Overburning.

Let`s try SONY +R 8X. This stuff works on Plextor 716 nice and smothess…

Again error on Benq.

So i did have to use the Plextor, for it! :a :a

Here is the result with some more megas…on Plextor!

Another issue is burning CDs! I have SONYs 52X burn speed and can do it more tham 32X :a :a

Is here something that i miss?

Any help is welcome :flower:

I’m pretty sure most drives will not overburn DVDR media.

The BenQ 1640 can only overburn DVD+R between 4493 MB up to 466x MB (some reported up to 467xMB). Note that standard DVD+R size is 4482MB. If you overburn between 4483-4492, it will cause a problem.

Another issue is burning CDs! I have SONYs 52X burn speed and can do it more tham 32X :a :a

Unfortunately the Sony CD-R (97m24s16f) is only supported @32x.

Thank you, very much, for your answers, once again…

Forgive-me, Benq fans, but in this case, Plextor is Plextor

We’ll gladly forgive you Mordorr.

Learn to know how to use your BenQ 1640’s full potential and I’m sure you will reconsider your judgement.
