In your windows device manager, delete the main controller & reboot windows.
Are you sure it’s set DMA (auto)?

i did that when pc found drw it seems like dma but when i put cd in drw , its pio mode again

Hi,

if a drive switches back from DMA to PIO, then this is often due to read errors (see http://winhlp.com/node/10 ). An old drive may have problems reading certain discs, so the procedure described above is triggered.
I’d suggest to open the drive and clean it carefully, especially the lens. Additionally, try a new IDE cable.
If this doesn’t help, then consider buying a new drive.
