Can not copy end of disc

Never had a problem. Then I started getting a few "can not copy end of disc’. Now I can not get any copy to work and always get "can not copy end of disc. I use Dvd script, cloan, any dvd and nero. Any help out there. Thanks Jack

Hi, welcome to CDF! :slight_smile:

If you could post a Nero error log, that would really help people to help you. :slight_smile:

Messagae says can not copy end of disc at once. I have put Nero log in the attachment.

Edit out that serial number :wink:

What discs are you using? Put one in the drive, run CD-DVD Speed (which is in the Nero Toolkit), and post the MID info (under the “Disc Info” tab).

I ask because I see a “KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR” in that log.

Edit: Nevermind, I see it’s a CMC MAG. AM3…try some different media if you have some to hand, or buy some Verbatim and try that.

:slight_smile:

Are you meanig try a different disc to record on? If not what do you mean Media?

Media = disc(s) :iagree:

how do I edit number? By the way, Thanks for answering.

Says after 30 minutes need to contact moderator. Are you the mod? Serial is also in attachment. Have I done something wrong for this site and or for myself by allowing others to see serial #

I am a mod, but not of this forum…anyway, your serial has been removed :wink:

No, you’ve done nothing “wrong” - it’s just that your serial might get into the wrong hands, and if someone else uses it, it could invalidate your own Nero :slight_smile:

Thanks for your help. Has it been removed from the attachment too. Thanks again. I will try different disc. Is there any thing else that could be causing this problem?

All Nero serials have been removed - your serial is safe :slight_smile:

I’d say there’s a 90% chance that it’s the discs. To be on the safe side, I’d try some Verbatim, as they’re very well supported in most burners.

Hopefully if there could be any other cause, someone will post. :slight_smile:
