can i firmware upgrade my old 8x burner (Samsung SW-408B) to a 12x,16x or maybe higher?
12x Samsung SW-212B
16x Samsung SW-216B
24x Samsung SW-224B
My burner Samsung SW-408B
Plz help me out on this one…

I’m also wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to “overclock” this burner.
The 212B has an 8MB buffer, so that’s not likely to work.
The others (216b and 224b), like the 408b, have a 2MB buffer.
Tho pushing a 8x burner to 24x is probably too much, 16x might work…
