I recorded a movie off my TV screen using my LVW5007. I mistakenly erased it. I know I can record it again when it shows again but I was wondering if there is a way to unerase the file? I didn’t finalize the disk yet.
What media did you use? As far as I know only RW media can be erased.

I USED A VERBATIM DVD-R +. I was going to edit the title via the Liteon LWV 5007 EDIT menu. I was distracted and hit the erase icon and OK (dumb). I lost the recording. My guess is that it’s still on the disk. As you infer, there is no way to “erase” a file on a R+ DVD disk. If there was, I would be seeing about 2 hrs of recording capability again. All I see is about 2 minutes.
The space is still occupied. Can I reverse the ERASE process?
Have you tried dvd disaster? A free program. It may save your bacon, or even your file.
