Can I remove installed CDROM Firmware?

By accident I installed the wrong firmware for my new Samsung x52x32x52.
Is there a way to remove it and install the correct one? When I’m trying to install over the correct one, I get this error: :frowning:

edit: Got Samsung x52x32x52 SW-252S CD-R/RW

Does the drive still function? I’d see if you can find a .bin file or something like that to flash the drive from DOS as a possible choice. If that’s not option you may want to contact Samsung’s technical support. Maybe they’ll have an option that’ll recover the drive.

It’s in working condition.

I just don’t know what to do to fix my bad mistake.
Just bought the CDROM, but I just don’t got the time to replace it (Working 10 hours a day)
