Can I remove installed CDROM Firmware?

By accident I installed the wrong firmware for my new Samsung x52x32x52.
Is there a way to remove it and install the correct one? When I’m trying to install over the correct one, I get this error:

Does the drive still function? I’d see if you can find a .bin file or something like that to flash the drive from DOS as a possible choice. If that’s not option you may want to contact Samsung’s technical support. Maybe they’ll have an option that’ll recover the drive.

It’s in working condition.
The problem is that when I try to flash it to the correct firmware, it gives me this error:

I just don’t know what to do to fix my bad mistake.
Just bought the CDROM, but I just don’t got the time to replace it (Working 10 hours a day)
