Can anyone tell me which dvd+r inkjet printable discs are a good one to use?

I’ve seen:
Prodisc 8x at $36.99 per 100
Optodisc 8x at $56 per 100 (or on auctions for less)
USDM PRO 2.4-8x at $58 per 100
Samsung (Pleomax) 1x/8x at $59 per 100
Memorex 8x at $69 per 100
Verbatim DataLifePlus 8X at $72.32 per 100
Taiyo Yuden 8x at $85 per 100

I’d like to get the best deal without getting burned.

I’ve got a Sony DRU540A burner
Windows XP
Intel P4 2.8GHz
80gig hard drive
1gig Ram

Yo-

Seems to me that you can get quality media much cheaper - try shopping at www.rima.com or www.newegg.com or www.supermediastore.com for best quality/prices/service-

There’s no exist sth like “ideal” discs (even printable or not). If you want to find good discs try and tests them on your own drive/recorder. It’s the only way.

Hello J.P.,

I’m been doing DVD copying for about 1 1/2 years (though I consider myself a novice), and I have had excellent success creating DVD backup on MEMOREX 4x DVD+R (white hub printable) media. I print using an Epson R300 inkjet and I think the results are phenomenal…great print quality and terrific copies using my Sony DRU-510a (until it’s recent death).

I got a 100pk spindle at Amazon.com for $64.99 (final price that included shipping). I don’t know if 4x is fast enough for you, or the general consensus of the quality of Memorex, but they worked for me.
