C & C++ in Linux

Hi,

Any Linux gurus in here ?

Need recommendation for programming in C, C++ & assembly for Linux - books, sites…

I can do a few basics - looping, decision, branch, array.

I am confused with pointers - programming with pointers is a nightmare for me :frowning:

:bow: :bow:

Bye.

what, exactly, do you want to know about pointers? here’s a class website i’ve had, in case that might help.

thanks a million. :smiley:

Check out “Mastering C Pointers” by Robert J. Traister, ISBN 0-12-697408-X. Believe me, you are not alone.

Hehe another one that enters the pointer hell :smiley:

After some time you’ll get used to it.

If found quite some nice documentation about developing with C and C++ in Linux on the KaZaa network. By searching on “Linux C++ documentation” etc you’ll find some nice HTMLs that can teach you basic and advanced stuff :slight_smile:

Some tutorial’s here - especially C++ in 21 days :
