Bw and plex 52x24x52x possible 1:1 copy?

hi

can anyone tell me if the plexwriter 52x24x52x burner backup games with protection with bw5?
just asking…

if your talking about the 1:1 copymode for securerom you need the plex premium I do believe.

i meant if it is a two sheep.
so tell me.
can it?

What is the difference between a Plextor 52x burner and a Plextor Premium 52 x?? Is there any? Because I can buy an Plextor for 65€, but a premium is more expensive, but same writing speed, I think it is just the kit?

Oh no, there are A LOT of differences:

  • 32x rewriting vs 24x rewriting, even if in my opinion it is not very important…
  • 8Mb internal buffer vs 2Mb, which is a very good thing
  • recording modes specific for the Premium: silent mode, Gigarec, Securec
(you can find info on these e.g. on the Plextor website)
  • ability of the Premium to perform quality checks on burned and blank cds: C1/C2/CU errors, beta/jitter test…

And (even if I not tried it), the combination Premium/Blindwrite is more powerful since Premium firmware 1.03 and Blindwrite 4.5.something… other people can tell you more about that…

ET
