Buy used PX-755A vs PX-760A?

I have a Plextor PX-716A and wouldn’t mind a backup since Plextor isn’t going to make them any more. My main use is EAC so getting something with the same capabilities, offsets, etc is important. I’ll scour eBay for the next couple weeks until the right one comes along.

Is there any difference, or preference to one of these drives for the purpose of CD ripping?

Get another 716(S)A if you can find it.

Interesting. Why do you say that? While my 716A works fine on most of my CD’s, it does a pretty crappy job on anything mildly scratched. I was hoping a change of model would help that. Is the 716A the best in your collection (as I see from your sig)?

Robert

Go for the 760A, it’s one of the greatest burners for high quality media.

I am vote for 760A.

same here 760A :iagree:
