Hi sammd70

I use Windows 7 and also have an LG and don’t have any trouble, what brand of blank media are you using ? and at what burn speed do you have DVDFab set for ? also are you using the VSO burn engine(DVDFab’s default).

Plus have you checked the firmware for the LG to make sure it is up to date ?..

have tried dvdfab at 8x and 16x
lg burner is new have tried at all 3 speeds
if i put the burned disc in my dvd drive it will play but dvdfab will not recognize it
plays on my older go video player but not on magnavox or panasonic player–starts in the middle and
will not move either way
all worked perfectly when i had my old computer and xp
thanks

Hi sammd 70,
What about the burn engine that SJ asked about in post #2 ?
are you using the VSO, or something else

#7

using dvdfab vso burning engine and nero always have worked fine on xp

#8

Just a guess here but, the media you are using aren’t the best rather on the low end, also you never said if the FW for the burner was up to date, just the latest model doesn’t mean that the FW is up to date

the media works fine in my go video dvd player and on my computer
also plays fine on my portable 7in dvd player
does not work in the magnavox or panasonic dvd players
it starts about an hour into the dvd and will not move forward
or backward
this same media was fine when i had xp and worked in
all my players
thanks
