backing up with my whole disc, keeping everything, heard about Nero is not exactly a good software to use DL disc, DVD shrink also comes with the burning software, did anyone try it yet?,or is there a burning software out there that works well with DL disc?
No DvD Shrink does not come with burning software. It’s dependent on using other burning programs like Nero or DvD Decrypter.
Many users here who burn DL disks use imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com).
The only DL disks that are recommended for use are made by Verbatim. Many DL burning issues are due to poor media quality.
I generally use DVDDecrypter in ISO Read Mode to rip to the hard drive when I am backing up the entire disk. Then I load the resulting md5 file into ImgBurn to burn to disk. If the copy protection is too new for Decrypter to handle on its own, I use it in conjunction with AnyDVD.
This method has been a good way to set the layer break correctly.
Verbatim DL is the way to go, but I would suggest looking for the Verbatims that are made in Singapore rather than the ones made in India. Look for the country of manufacture on the side of the cakebox.
Nero works flawlessly with DL.

That is a sentence I really doubt.

Never had problems with DL. Then again, i only use Verbatims and a perfectly working Nec writer.
Which Nero versions have you used and for Data or VideoDVD??
