Burning Scratched CD

Hi,
I need help on how to burn some data from my scratched cd :eek:
The cd is not completely scratched, only in the middle a minor scratch,
and when i try to burn the data file with my program “B’s Recorder GOLD5” the data file gets recorded only 60 percent and then my program freezes or the cd pops out with “THE CD IS DIRTY OR SCRATCHED” error.

Can anyone tell me if there is a software that will let me burn only the amount that can be burned, or skip the scratched part?

Try isobuster this should work.

I assume you are just doing a CD Reader to CD Writer copy, right? No making images? Try downloading Alcohol 120% and try reading at slow speeds with the SafeDisc profile. That should skip any read errors you may have.

Another alternative is to use discdump (standard mode) to read the cd and then burn the image with fireburner (session-at-once; aka sao-cooked).

The resultant copy cd will then be error free. :slight_smile:
