Burning Question: Bad ISO(?) = Bad Scan?

I may be posting in the wrong forum but can a bad .ISO file cause a bad BURN/SCAN?

What do you mean exactly for “bad ISO”?

What I meant was a ISO file created on my computer that some how while being created was not created correctly or in the creation process had bad sectors in the created file.

But I found my answer that the media itself was bad… not the ISO as I changed media and the error(S) went away… with out changing the ISO file on the computer…

For the burner, data is data, corrupted data or not the burner doesn’t care.

Burns/scans quality issues are strictly related to media, firmware, drive, and system hardware/config, and not related in any way to the nature of data.
