Im using nero express to burn…through dvd shrink after i decrypt it with dvd decrypter. Anydvd is on the entire time. Ver. 6.0.8.8 The dvd-r’s are magnavox. The burner is a liteon from walmart I bought like two weeks ago for fifty bucks. Out of 5 burn attempts only 1 was a success. Tried burning “THE MARINE” burned on third try. Tried to burn “Flags of our Fathers” NO SUCCESS…ANY IDEAS FROM AN EXPERIENCED PERSON IS APPRECIATED. THANKS. - JUSDAFIDE

#2

for starters…that version of nero is waaaay old…update…that nero is almost 2 years old at least

#3

As Nosmartz points out this is a very old Nero version that probably can’t handle modern burners properly anyway. That version was probably more geared towards Windows 98 as well, note the reference to “buffers”.

An update is essential.

I doubt that the DVDs you’re using are a good brand and could be partly to blame.

You could try burning with ImgBurn or CDBurnerXP Pro. Both are free and current. ImgBurn is the burning app of choice for many here.

#4

It turns out it was the crappy disks I was using. Magnavox do not work. I bought Memorex disks, added rip4me to my arsenal, and updated my software to NERO 7…worked like a charm :iagree: Thanks for the posts…keep it real - Jusdafide

#5

Memorex is also a media to be avoided.

#6

Try Unistalling and Reinstalling Burning Software.
Hope you get through.
