Burning pics onto a DVD

I am going crazy trying to burn pics onto my dvd drive. I am making a disk of 570 pics so I need to use a DVD. I have chosen to use DVD+RW so that I can reuse the disk if need be. The problem that I’m having is this…when I burn a group of pics that is sorted from 4 different cameras, the system burns them in the order of the device rather than the way I sorted them. Add to that, the disk will not play on computers other than my laptop. Am I doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

are you using Incd to write the RW dvd?
other computers must have Incd installed.
why not try rename files with numbers so it takes up serial order.
regular burning of dvd with jpg pictures renamed with numbers i have done . it works fine.
you can use batch rename programs.

DVD+R and DVD+RW
DVD+R is a non-rewritable format and it is compatible with about 89% of all DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs.
DVD+RW is a rewritable format and is compatible with about 79% of all DVD Players and most DVD-ROMs.
DVD+R and DVD+RW supports single side 4.37 computer GB* DVDs(called DVD-5) and double side 8.75 computer GB* DVDs(called DVD-10).
These formats are supported by the DVD+RW Alliance

the above info i got from Ultra DVD creator help.
that may explain why dvd RW is not playing in all drives.
