Burning Over A Network

Once again,
I’m not talking about linking or stuff. I have this feature ( [IMG]code, that is ) enabled on the following foriums :

Living Room, LiteOn, Audio, Firmware, Plextor, CloneCD, OSTD, Burning soft, General HF…

So, what access permissions do you exactly mean ?

You should be able to burn over a network. I have done this before, using a mapped network drive. Of course the box burning has the network card set at 100mbs and doenst have to go through numerous switches. Of course mind you the buffer under Nero is set for 80 megs( the max that Nero recommends).

I should try it unfer Clonecd and cd-mate.

Not really necessary , because in the wizard you can tick the option " cache all network files" as well as the “cache all files below 64k” option.

Not to worry. Your link has always worked for me.

It may be blocked for some by the “knowledge” filter. :bigsmile:

If I click on Boskin’s link, I always get

  1. If you can see it, that’s the main point with it all. :wink:

  2. It’s a mystery for me, since the link can well be seen/reached by my 2 browsers - IE 6 & Opera 6.05 :confused:

Well, nevermind.

@mr. B
I hardly use the wizard when I have to burn from box to another.
The computers are mapped, and the software buffer just in case some ugly stuff happens. Even most the burners I have, have a burn proof. Just old habits I suppose to stay away from coasters.
Havent actually burnt a coaster in a long time.

The first time I burnt one over a network, the buffer stayed at around 3-4 % the whole time, until I increase the software buffer.
