i have some cds that have been ripped as one whole track on my computer and some dj sets. Of these files i have they have .CUE files with them with the track informations on them. The problem i have is that i cannot burn a set to a cd having more than one track on it…

the cue file has the name of the right file in it and all the other proper information, but this just wont work with nero… (nero express 6) when i choose to burn an image…

ive also tried cdrwin 5 but it doesnt seem to want to work also… ive tried burrrn as well… but it just hangs for some reason… is the problem the cue file or something???

plz someone help. any detailed guide you can give i will be sincerely grateful… this is killing me… i need to know how to do it…

here is one of the CUE files.
the name is exact… can you notice any problems with it if thats the case?..?? :frowning:

Cue file - how big is the file? Does it have a .BIN file with it?

What exactly do you want to do? (Copy CD, Convert to MP3 and burn…? etc.)

Nero is quite bad at burning CUE+MP3.
Maybe the MP3 file is corrupted.
Feurio will warn you if that’s the case, and it’s probably the best software to burn CUE+MP3… if your drive is supported.

Feurio CD-Manager -> Project -> Create project from cuesheet file (be careful when deleting the project).
You can play and edit the tracks before burning.

Hey thanks for the reply finally…

Its a cue with an mp3 file. To burn a whole dj set with skippable tracks. Ive searched the forums and read up on this a few times now but havnt been able to find anything that helps my problem.

ive tried about 5 programs now.
i tried renaming the mp3 to “one.mp3” and changing the cue to point to “one.mp3”.

And its not just this file either, its every cuesheet that points to an mp3 file just doesnt want to work with any program ive tried… every cue i have with a bin file works 100%.

-with nero burning rom Ultra 6, as soon as i open the cue it just locks up.

-with cdrwin5, i select write cd/dvd image, and find the cuesheet and drag it into the “drag image here for recording” but when i go to test burn it finishes the recording in 2 seconds… so it says… so it must be just writing the cue file to the disc… -_-

-with fireburner2.1.7 as soon as i open tracks from the cuesheet it gets the error…
“Access violation at address F44D8957. Read of address F44D8957.”

-with Feurio! CD-Manager 1.67 i think it is able to write it because the read and converting to wav is successful but, my dvdwriter isnt support. And the generic drivers they provide dont work for it either. its an LG.

-with Burrrn1.10 i can load the cuesheet but as soon as i hit burn it just hangs at the “Processing files / Decoding file” screen @ 0% and doesnt move.

Im sure ive tried with alcohol 120% but it doesnt work either.

=(

Some things for you to try / consider.[ul]Try this and see if it works.
Are you sure the MP3 isn’t corrupt try opening and resaving from any media player.
Another theory it should work would be to convert the MP3 to WAV then take out any “MP3” reference in the cue file and try burning that.
Also another thought does our drive support overburning as that last track might go on for a bit and this could be the problem (this is a wild guess).[/ul]Let us know how it goes.

If Feurio can load it and play the songs correctly, then the cuesheet is right.
The MP3 file is not corrupt. Otherwise, Feurio would have shown a warning.

Do you have an LG GSA-4040B or LG GSA-4081B ?
Then they are supported by the Feurio 1.67.2 driver update:
http://www.feurio.de/English/Download/download_driverupdate.shtml

If it’s still not supported, there are several generic drivers you can try. Feurio CD-Writer -> Info -> Driver

You can also try burnatonce.
