Try using the LG [HL-DT-ST] drive to write to the media instead of the older NEC drive. I’d also suggest in this case to try to stick to Verbatim-branded media with both drives at either 8x or 12x.

Albert is right, this media is not good.

ok guys, ty and i will try it

Also you need to update your dvdfab as there is a new release out Version 5.1.1.0 and you are using 5.0.9.8. You can also change from packet writing to SAO writing in common settings write type.

I have downloaded the new version, and i still am having problems. When i start dvdfab, it boots up fine and scans the disc. When i click for it to start copying, it seems to freeze up my computer, the next screen takes forever to show everything on the screen. The background turns black. The only way i have found to continue is to use task manager. i have Belarc, so i can show u what i have installed on my computer to find out if something is conflicting. I never had this problem with the older versions.
