Burning img file to cd

Don’t know whether this was to go to the newbie forum or clonecd so I chose here.

I am trying to burn a downloaded file (an .img file) to cd. When I open up clone cd and click on “burn file to cd” it will only recognize .ccd files. Am I wrong for thinking that .img files are to be used with clonecd?

If not, how can I get clonecd to recognize the file?

Am I just a bonehead or what?

The .img file is the file wich contains RAW data, and contains the disc.

The .ccd file is the CloneCD - Control File wich tells CloneCD what kind of a CD it is, length, number of sessions and all that stuff.

The third file needed is a .sub wich contains Subchanneldata. One is created even if you don’t enable “Read Subchanneldata”.
