Burning From Windows Media Files

Can Clone DVD burn files from Windows media files? ie: If you have downloaded a file that plays on your computer as a windows media film clip can you use Clone DVD to transfer it to DVD?

I have several of these files on my hard drive but when I go looking for files in the “Write Existing Data” option they do not show up in the folders I have them stored.

At the moment I use Nero Vision which does the job but I was just wondering if Clone DVD would be better!

nero vision has to encode those files to dvd-video specifications and format

clonedvd2 only transcodes and writes video files (and images)

short answer: unless you convert these files to dvd files first (vob, ifo, bup) then clonedvd2 won’t touch them.

Thanks for the response. I thought as much!
