I purchased the pack of P90X, which is a total of 13 discs and cost me $120. I also have a little one in the house that loves get her hands on movies! So with that being said, I wanted to back up my set. My step brother showed me a program called Alcohol 120%, where he could burn copy protected images no problem. So when I got home I purchased Alcohol 120%, which cost me another 70$. Well when I tried Alcohol, it wouldn't rip the dvd due to copy right protection. I emailed Alcohol soft, and they replied that their software doesn't do that. So I looked into it some more and found out that I had to have a third party software running in the backgound, so I found a software called ANYDVD, as long as it is running in the back ground, Alcohol will rip the copy protected dvds. So, now comes the real problem. The dvds will not play in my stand alone dvd player. When I am burning the disc, using alcohol, it looks like I am putting an MDS. file on the disc, which is what alcohol saved when it ripped the disc. Is this an issue of formats? Region codes? I don't know. Im very knew to this, but catch on quickly, if you can help me I would very much appreciate it! Thank you!
