What exactly are you trying to do with that ?

CloneDVD, maybe ?[/COLOR]

I’m just trying to back up files. I know mainly everyone here is asking about encoding and stuff like that…but I just want to start basic first. =P

Nero is capping me at 4.5 gigs…and what I want to burn is sitting at 4.663 gigs. =P

Incidentally, if you are looking to decode a commercial DVD for backup purposes, DVD Decrypter does the job of decoding CSS (dvddecrypter.com).

Blank Disc Capacity : 2,298,496 Sectors = 4,489.3 MB = 4.38 GB

Your file should be compressed for this matter.

What the…then why does it boast 4.7 capabilities? -_-

This is dumb…I’m just backing up my anime and it’s 26 episodes…I don’t want to put like 24 on it and then the last 2 on another one… -_-

It’s the same with hard drives; the label states “120GB”, but the actual capacity (in Windows etc) is about 112GB.

Manufacturers use other (=less accurate) calculations to label their products
(eg 1 GB should be 1024MB, but for those labels they use 1GB = 1000MB) :Z
