Burning a DVD game with Blindwrite 5.1.1.128

Protection: SecuRom

Programs I have which might be necessary: Blindwrite 5.1.1.128, Alcohol 120% 1.4.8 and Nero 6.3.0.2

Game: Pro Evolution Soccer 3

Question: How do I make a backup of this game with Blindwrite? If more programs is needed, please suggest.

Any idea? Everytime I try to make an image with BW, a box appears: “Do you want to delete the partial files?” or something, and the disc ejects. Why? Even if I press yes or no, it doesn’t help…

So, I need your help…

as yet you cannot copy this dvd title see thread below:
http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?threadid=80200
unless anyone knows differently???
a dvd title containing securom has yet to be defeated as a straight copy with a dvd burner!
sorry!

Thanks for the answer! However, it works if I emulate the game. Do I need to make an image with BW, and then emulate it with Alcohol, for example?

My second question was: Everytime I try to make an image with BW, a box appears: “Do you want to delete the partial files?” or something, and the disc ejects. Why? Even if I press yes or no, it doesn’t help… Does it have anything to do with PES3 inserted?

@ logicwatch

im not to confordent of that, Im pretty sure I have read that BW5 can backup SecuRom DVD titles (as lond as the game is on a DVD-5 disk)

Reader/Writer TDK 840G
Enter The Matrix (DVD-Rom version) SecuRom 4.85= success, yes thats right this beta version of BlindWrite 5 has achieved another first, it has successfully copied a dvd-rom version game, how about that?

don’t forget to install the current tweaker to get your securom back-ups to work properly

This would have been using the latest BlindWrite 5, BWABuilder 5.1 (For BW5 registered users only), and BW Tweaker 1.5.5.

Maybe Kam can elaborate for you, as I do not have a SecuROM dvd rom game to try and back up

I was just going to step in after I read this, I needed to copy it again for the logs, so I could post something to be looked at, first the Protection:

First I tried to create the image with the NEC 2500, as you can see the image was created but the topology kinda sucked, I then used the TDK 840G to create the image as you can see it gave me topology with 99% quality rating. I then used the TDK 840G and the NEC 2500 to write the image as seen in the logs. The copy does work and BlindWrite 5 can copy dvd-rom version games, as long as there is no compression involved. So far this has worked on Enter the Matrix and Tron 2, both of which are dvd versions games.

@rglaf post your logs. and make sure you install the current tweaker. Try disabling your anti-virus just in case.

Well, I have a _NEC_ND2500A. However, as I’ve asked before, what kind of program you I need to make that image? Since, everytime I try to make an image with BW, a box appears: “Do you want to delete the partial files?” or something, and the disc ejects. Why? Even if I press yes or no, it doesn’t help…

change the path where you are trying to save the files, also provide the information asked for.
