Burn DVDR movie over to DVDR cd

Hi.

I’m downloading a DVDR-High torrent from thepiratebay, and I was wondering how I can burn that over to a DVD-R cd. Can anyone help me?

Better yet go and buy the DVD movie.

There are a few movies available through torrents that are legal to download, mostly older ones in the public domain, but the vast majority of torrents are not legal downloads and cannot be discussed in these forums.

I’m downloading an old movie that I would like to have on a DVD. But I don’t know how to burn it over.

Can’t find it in stores.

Assuming it is not copyright protected at this point, you would need to tell us the format of the video before we could give exact instructions.

If it is dvd-video already, you can burn straight to a dvd using ImgBurn. If it is another format, like avi, you would need to convert to dvd-video using a program like DVDFlick or AVStoDVD.

That is clearly no excuse to violate rules.
Even if you had that movie yourself at home and bought, you would not be allowed to download it from an source like thepiratebay or other illegal sources…
