Does the buffer memory in DVD-ROM drives play an important role and if yes could you give an example why. And secondly which DVD-ROM drive do you recommend me? I can’t choose between Asus DVD-E616 and Plextor PX-116A. I have only those two in mind because as I know they can read both the DVD-R and the DVD+R format.
