Recently, I noticed when I burn DVD’s through Nero’s packet writing program - InCD, the used read buffer sometimes goes to 0, while the writing buffer will sometimes drop to between 20-30%. This appears to add 20-30 seconds to the burn process over my BenQ 1650. After burning and running scans and TRT tests with CD Speed everything looks perfect - with the burst rate being 23 ms as well. I am using BCDC with SB off for known media(MCC 004) - no OS. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this just a known, cosmetic flaw with the firmware on 1655’s?
Sorry guys, I was thinking of my 1650, the firmware I am using with my 1655 is BCGB.
