I did get the same drive into BRXL-16U3, does that BDR-209m drive have new firmware like the 1.33 released in 2016-01-05 ?
I’m not so familiar with the results you gave, compared to the LG BH16NS48 version is it better or not ?

Welcome to the forums, nspp!

There have been no firmware updates for the drive from Buffalo that I’ve seen. That’s typical of Buffalo products.

I have not made enough burns with this drive (yet) to comment on whether or not it’s better than the BH16NS48. Please post burn results from your drive if you can.
