The piracy rate was calculated by comparing the researchers’ estimates on demand with data on actual software sales. does that mean what i think it does? that piracy statistics are infact just made up? sure piracy goes on but you can bet the researchers’ estimates do not include open source and free software in their calculations obviously those must be pirates too, no one uses free stuff…

One Wonders if Rsols like RIAA, MPAA and even BSA have cleaned their own backyard…I would bet there is some illegal software floating around those offices…:X
