Burned DVD+R discs with ND-3550A, Liggy’s ND3550 bitsetting firmware 1.07 (RPC1) and ImgBurn report book type as DVD+R, even thought the (temporary) book type of DVD+R media was changed to DVD-ROM before burning. Any ideas why? Is this a firmware problem?

This ImgBurn report as Dvd+R, is it when the disc is in & you scroll down the info in the right hand window to physical information last recorded?

No, I checked the burned disc using Nero CD-DVD Speed and DVDInfoPro.

Launch ImgBurn, put the disc in & when the information appears in the right window, scroll down to information last recorded & see what it says there. Or copy & paste the log from that burn into a reply post.

Some drives report the BOOKtype wrong. Also some tools confuse mediatype with booktype…
