‘Blue is large update for Windows 8, Windows Phone and Hotmail’.

[newsimage]http://static.rankone.nl/images_posts/2012/12/yS4He.jpg[/newsimage]Blue would not only be the codename for a large update for Windows 8 but also a large update for Windows Phone, Windows Server, Hotmail and Skydrive. Microsoft will update its products every year from now on, according to ZDNet.

Yo listen up, here’s the story
about a little guy that lives in the blue world.
And all day, and all night
and everything he see is just blue
like him, inside and outside.
Blue his house, with a blue little window,
and a blue corvette, and everything is just blue for him,
and himself and everybody around
’cause he ain’t got nobody to listen to…

Now that that’s out of my system, I’ll bet that Blue will once again prevent programs like Start8 from functioning. Unless, of course, Microsoft has realized that the new start screen is probably why they have sold so few copies of Windows 8.

Blue … for screen of death?

You must mean BSOD…

A fascinating choice of colors for a Windows update name. I think Microsoft might have chosen any other color for this first mass-update… unless of course their Freudian Slip is showing.

Who wants to be the first one on their block to test this out?

(I’m thinking of even worse choices MS could have made… hmmm… “The Ralph Meeker Memorial Nuclear Explosion” color theme? Hmmm…)

Holy EMTs, Batman!

Large update, but they didn’t listen to the cries from the users to bring back the start menu.
And rumors say the Desktop will completely disappear …
You shouldn’t believe everything you read on the interwebz! :disagree:
Even Microsoft isn’t that determined on destroying their own platform.

U sure?

Steve do everything to kill the advantages of Desktop-Win, he still thinks that this gonna help to win in mobile-market

Unfortunately, I have to agree that Microsoft will probably consider doing something like this. If they were crazy enough to think they could make a profit off Windows 8 like this, 9 could be even worse. Or, people might look at 9 the same way they look at 7: as a much improved version. I guess it really depends on how foolish/professional Microsoft is willing to be.
