I can get HD content on demand from my cable company in seconds. I can drive to the video store and come back with a HD disk in 20 minutes. XBox Live downloads HD movies which take about 1-1.5hrs or longer before you can watch them. That’s why I don’t use XBox live. Why would I want to use this sytem?

I download HD movies all the time, 10-25GB. It takes me around 1 -7 hours to do it and I usually just select what I want before I go to bed at night and it is done when I wake up in the morning. It is really no big deal.

@ferd - HD movies from your cable co. are nowhere near Bluray quality and I doubt VUDU is either.

A typical Bluray is 30-40GB. The typical Internet connection available today would require waiting much more than 2 hours.
