'Been looking to get into Blu-ray burning for some time. Is it appropriate to say that, as of March 2009, reliable Blu-ray burning has entered the realm of affordability?
Should I get into it now, or should I wait some more? Of course, waiting is always the good strategy when it comes to burning optical media--if you can wait, that is. Aside from this eternal truth, would I be entering a world of pain, suffering, disappointment and financial ruin by entering the Blu-ray burning scene right now? If pressed, I guess I could confess that the major aspect I am interested in is BD-R (DL or not) burn reliability and burn quality.
Is Blu-ray burning nowadays where DVD burning was ten years ago? Five years ago? Thirteen years ago?
Aside from numbers and cold hard facts, what I am looking for is an answer dictated by each one's flair, a generic feeling, not links to Newegg's price list.
Many thanks for answering the poll.
