A setting is wrong (uncheck subs and nibble) or, more probable, you do not have DMA enabled. Update your chipset drivers for a likely all-in-one solution

I had nibble on…I’m not sure if I had DMA enabled. I just bought the CDRW drive (yesterday in fact) so is there any need in updating the chipset driver? If so, where can I download the driver?

Oh and ummmm…how do I know which driver to download? The computer I installed the Liteon 48125S is quite old…
Pentium II 233MHz
4GD HDD
64MB RAM
