Bit Settings can't be selected after cross flashing to iHAS524B

Hi to all experts,

I am new to this forum. I just cross flashed my OLD ASUS DRW-24B3ST to LiteOn iHAS524B AL2A firmware which follow the cross flash procedure and finally successfully (http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/tutorial-how_to_crossflash_a_liteon_ihas_drive_to_unlock_features-915138/).

But now I am facing a strange situation, that is I cannot choose the Bit Settings in the Eeprom Utility (DVD+R to DVD-ROM, DVD+R DL & DVD+RW to DVD-ROM). I can only set the Region Playback Control (RPC 1 or 2).

FYI:

  1. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium X64
  2. DVD Drive: ASUS DRW-24B3ST 1.00 to LiteOn iHAS524B AL2A.

Is there any thing that I can do to fix the Bit Settings so that I can choose the book type. Thank you.

I have fixed this problem by simply plug directly to SATA Port @ Motherboard, before this I connected the drive via USB3.0 to Sata Converter. Sometimes it works and sometimes not work well. Anyway, this problem has been solved. Regards.
