Better of PX-W4824A vs PX-W4012A?

Speed notwithstanding, which is the better drive? Audio CD writing is important to me, as is ripping audio and error correction. Is one better than the other? Did Plextor give up anything going to Z-CLV to CAV for writing audio at slower speeds?

The reason that i got the 4012TA was the lower price in comparison with the latest …

About speed i do not bother , there is plenty of it :slight_smile:

The PX-4824A uses CAV for audio-cd writing. The 4824A also has the VariRec function that will make better sounding audio cd recordings…
