What is the best burner for burining Taiyo Yuden 8x Inkjet Hub Printable DVD media?
LiteOn drives are generally excellent with TYG02 and the Pioneer 112 series drives are possibly even better.
Pioneer 115D A good burner for just about anything.
BTW, on sale now at Newegg if you are in the US.
Is the DVR-115D part of the 112 series? And does itn burn Verbatim very well?

The DVR-115D is part of the 115/215 series.
The 112/212 is the previous range.
The Pioneer is the better drive for burn quality IMHO.
I saw 2 x LG 4163 and one Samsung 203B do a 0 PIF burn. That said i have had no drives that were bad with TYG02 and most of my drives are shown in my singnature
Which is better at burning TYG02, a Lite-On 20A1L or a Samsung 203B? I currently have a Lite-On 20A1L but was wondering if I should replace it with a Samsung 203B? I plan on getting a IDE burner since alll my SATA ports are taken.
The 203 is a SATA drive.
The Pioneer DVR-115D is the drive for you.
Unless you want to scan, then Lite-On is probably the only option.
I know the 203B is a SATA burner but I was willing to replace my Lite-On with it if the Samsung burner is much better. Also, I saw the DVR-212 at TigerDirect, is that much better than the DVR-115 besides the fact that it is a SATA burner?
Lite-On LH-20A1P & S.
Samsung 203B & N.
For quality of burns the Pioneer egdes it over both the Lite-On & Samsung.
As to whether the 212 is better than the 115.
Personally I would say yes.
Although many would despute this.
Remember as the newer drive.
The 115 will be supported that bit longer too.
Hands down, it’s the LG H10N, and it just so happens you can still get one at RIMA
It will burn them at 8x only, no faster.

Most burners do a very good job with TYG02. The Liteon
LH20 gets my vote as the very best TYG02 burner.
Pffft, I wouldn’t base the “best burns” idea just on some quality scans. If it’d scan well on professional equipment as well as it does on our hme drives, maybe then you could name a best burner for the media.
As far as I’m concerned, most drives will burn it quite well. I’d go for a Pioneer since they burn very well to other discs also.
The Pioneer 115D is the best for TYG02s.
Here’s one burned at 12X and scanned in my BenQ.
Pretty much any modern burner does well with TYG02.
