So, what do you think is the best SSD brand and why?
I'm partial to my crucial drive. Very rapid load times and it hasn't given me a bit of grief.
I have the Intel 510, Intel X25, Kingston V+100 and the Crucial M4 in my various PC's and laptop - and so far all have been reliable for over about 16 months now.
If I was going to buy a new one - it would be either a Crucial M4 or a Samsung 830.
Crucial for me, for a few reasons. First of all, crucial has showed excellent firmware support, and second, they only have one model, so you dont have to spent time searching through various drives to see how they perform.
I picked Intel because I won a 120GB model 520 at NBF. I've bought a couple OCZ Agilitys too, so if the poll was multi choice I'd pick the 2 I know. Not real scientific, I guess.
